2020 Pool Season

Dear Homeowner:

I am writing to you on behalf of the Bridgewater Board of Directors regarding the 2020 pool season. The Board had initially stated they would review and discuss the possibility of opening the pool at each Board meeting. After careful consideration and further discussions on what steps need to be taken to open the pool the Board felt it necessary to make a final decision. Due to the pandemic and ultimately the detrimental loss of life due to COVID-19, the Board has determined the pool will not open this year. The shear thought of one life being loss is more than your Board/anyone is willing to sacrifice.

In addition to the pools being closed, the parks are also closed and will remain closed until further notice. We ask that you please keep the safety tape in place and not remove the tape or play on the equipment. Prior to the parks reopening for use, the Association will have all the equipment professionally disinfected.

While the pool is closed the Board will take this time to focus on building a new clubhouse at the Bownoor location. The Association has received several drawings and are looking to finalize the design portion this month. Once a design is selected it will be provided to a minimum of three (3) contractors to obtain bids. We are fully utilizing the pool closings this year to get this project completed.

We know and understand how frustrating it may be for the amenities to be closed. Please know your Board will be reviewing what savings the community received due to the reduction in the usage of the amenities and during budget season the Board will take this into consideration when setting the 2021 budget and 2021 assessment rate to pass the savings to the Association membership.
